Dr. R. Zarwulugbo Liberty

Dr. R. Zarwulugbo Liberty

R. Zarwulugbo Liberty (B.Th., Liberia Baptist Theological Seminary; M.Div., D. Min., Knox Theological Seminary) is president and founding church planter of an African Independent church denomination, Church of the Believers, Inc. in Liberia, West Africa and the Africa International Christian Mission, Inc. with headquarters in Boynton Beach, Florida. Prior to his coming to serve as a missionary in the United States, he, along with his wife, Esther planted nineteen churches in Liberia, established the Liberty Theological Seminary, the Fellowship of Christian Churches of Africa, and a Christian high school.

Dr. Liberty has over 30 years experience in church planting and leadership (in the pastorate and on a denominational level).  He directed excellently the overall programs of Church of the Believers in Liberia, and was president of the Liberty Theological Seminary in Liberia from 1992-1999.

Presently, Dr. Liberty serves as president of Africa International Christian Mission (AICM), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2000. The mission of AICM is to assist Christian churches in implementing the Great Commission of Christ in Africa and beyond by ministering to the spiritual and physical man.  Its vision is to promote ministerial and missionary education in Africa, to be an agent of independent churches in Africa who want to partner with Western churches and missions, raise support for indigenous pastors and missionaries to enable them fulfill the Great Commission in their homeland.  Also, it is to plan seminars, workshops, crusades and special Bible Conferences for church leaders in Africa and the United States, with regular mission trips to and from Africa, etc. The mission is planting churches in Africa, operating orphanages and schools, and supporting indigenous pastors and missionaries in their homeland. AICM is also operating a food bank in Boynton Beach, Florida providing weekly food and other staples of life to the homeless, elderly, families, children, etc.


Dr. Robert Saum

Robert Saum holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida State University, a Master’s degree in Global Studies in Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Doctorate in Ministry from South Florida Bible College and Theological Seminary.  He has nearly 15 years of higher education and distance learning experience.  Dr. Saum has helped Daytona State College grow its distance learning initiative from 1,700 students to over 13,000 in 7 years. He also helped build a world class instructional media production facility which assists faculty with the creation of learning object development, micro-lectures, videos and other instructional content.  These materials are made available online though a media server and over the air through WDSC-TV.


Pastor Andrew Hitz

Andy Hitz

Andrew Hitz has a very different before and after life as it relates to being “in Christ”. Prior to his conversion, he served in a variety of capacities with several Fortune Top 100 companies. He graduated with honors from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. After graduation, he began as a Retail Sales Representative for General Mills, and after a few years was promoted to the position of Account Manager. Leaving the food business, he went to work for Ortho Diagnostic Systems, which is a Johnson & Johnson Company. He began as a Medical Sales Representative and after a few years, he was promoted to Division Sales Manager. A few years later, he was promoted to Director of Sales Training, and then Director of Sales Administration. Later, he became a Management Consultant spending most of his time in the non-profit industry working with organizations as varied as Churches, the United Way, and the Arthritis Foundation.

After accepting Jesus as Savior and Lord, Andy began to minister in a variety of ways. Over the last twenty years he has frequently led Small Group / Home Bible Study. The Lord then had him serve in a church plant, and eventually he became and served as an ordained pastor for 10 years in that church. Andy has developed a number of websites with the hope of contributing to the Kingdom of God. Presently, he serves as the Church Relations Coordinator in two local counties as a volunteer for Operation Christian Child, a Samaritan’s Purse ministry.

Pastor John Panico

John Panico holds an Associates Degree in Nursing from Palm Beach State College, a Bachelor’s Degree from Charter Oak University, and attended Knox Theological Seminary ultimately earning his Master’s of Divinity at Columbia International University Seminary and School of Missions. John currently serves as the Senior Pastor at Calvary Chapel Delray Beach where the mission is to “share the radical, life changing love of Jesus Christ with our community, our country, and our world.” Since God started the work at Calvary Chapel Delray Beach, Pastor John has enjoyed opportunities to serve locally and support globally the work that the Holy Spirit has done through the Boynton Community Outreach, African International Christian Missions, and now Africa Christian University.
